A Juarez man this week was sentenced to 40 years in prison for killing his father and stepmother. Motive? His dad was flirting with his girlfriend. A judge convicted Carlos Sebastian Garcia de Avila, whose age was not released, of homicide in these deaths. Garcia de Avila told investigators that he heard voices in his head telling him to kill his dad after he gave a flirty compliment to his girlfriend. A Miami man who has been arrested multiple times is behind bars once again. This time, he may have a tough time getting out after his bail bond was set at $1.4 million. Jorge Vargas, 59, was arrested after he was caught with more than 200 undersized lobster tails near Fiesta Key Marina in Miami. A deputy spotted Vargas in a boat pulling traps and putting lobster tails into mesh bags. Police in Maine discovered a massive amount of marijuana in the trunk of a car. Oleg Spektorov, 29, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of a "schedule X" drug. Police said they pulled over the car because of a broken taillight and smelled an "overwhelming odor" of marijuana. During a search of the car, more than 41 pounds of marijuana was found.
