Man Busted with 41 Pounds of Pot in His Trunk

Police in Maine discovered a massive amount of marijuana in the trunk of a car. Oleg Spektorov, 29, was charged with aggravated trafficking in scheduled drugs and unlawful possession of a "schedule X" drug. Police said they pulled over the car because of a broken taillight and smelled an "overwhelming odor" of marijuana. During a search of the car, more than 41 pounds of marijuana was found. Investigators from the El Paso Police Department are asking for your help! On the evening of January 8th, 2015, a man burglarizes an El Paso home, stealing about $3,000 worth of property while being recorded by surveillance cameras. The suspected stayed approximately 11 minutes in the home and used a trashcan to fill it with various items of value. Two Men Charged with Murder in Las Cruces Double Shooting

The Las Cruces Police Department have arrested two suspects in a recent double-shooting that killed one man and critically injured another. Joshua Jones, 19, and Christopher D. Silva, 20, have been charged with murder, attempted murder, conspiracy to commit first-degree murder and tampering with evidence. Former El Paso Ascarate Park manager Reynaldo "Ray" Chavez was arrested on suspicion of stealing thousands of dollars collected from the park's entrance fees. He was charged with theft of more than $20,000. That’s a nice tip to add to his annual salary of over $80k. An El Paso jury found a 17-year-old boy guilty of murder in the stabbing death of 19-year-old Julian Galvan in March of 2014. The boy is being tried as a juvenile and will be held at the juvenile detention center until he turns 19. The juvenile could face up to 40 years in prison.
